- Voted for interim Chain – Rebecca
- Idea was brought forward for an End of the Year BBQ
- Would have to be on May 27th
- Considerations:
- Staff had a busy last month of school
- Caretaker cost
- Who will supply tables/chairs – are we asking participants to bring blankets and camping chairs
- Rain day pivot
- Staff supervision
- What is the equipment/entertainment
- Suggested to save the BBQ idea for Sep 30 Meet the Staff night
- Jessica to provide year-long calendar view onto the school website for Sept 2026
- We had $2,770 remaining in budget -we contributed $1,000 to school Otamatones purchases and $1,000 to school math manipulatives.
Upcoming:
- Sept Council meeting to be set up – to discuss the prize/raffle for meet the teacher night
- Discuss potential onboarding of new members
- Engagement of the school/community
- Oct council meeting – with any new attendees – discuss how council operates (Cara putting together the deck)
