Principal/Staff Report(s):

2026-2027 School “Through-thread” explained, guiding mentor texts that connect to math and well-being, growth mindset introduced.
School context presented (# of students, staff, school organization, special education classes, support staff) by Kim Maybury
Academic Focus – Math Literacy (Nicole Isgro) established context within Ministry of Education mandates, Board Improvement Plan, School Improvement Plan. Math “focused” start at Denne highlighted with evidence of impact, photos of student work and work sample artefacts across grades/divisions
Well-Being Focus – Extra-Curricular activities highlighted (pamphlet created for Meet the Staff Night) Raquel Branch emphasized work of the Unity Community (display provided) to highlights the concentrated effort of staff to ensure student/family identities are visible.

Presentation of staff survey recommending how Council can work to understand, support and maintain positive relationships between home/school - Continue/Start/Be Mindful Of (Jessie Salter) Reminder of key demographic learning from 2025-2026
